FC 26 FREEZING PROBLEM

Hello. Thank you for gathering the DxDiag. Here's some suggestions based on it:

1. Use DDU in Safe Mode to perform a clean uninstall of the Nvidia driver. Then, install a known-stable driver. If you're on the most recent driver, rollback to the previous version.
2. You've got a hybrid graphics setup. You need to make sure the RTX 4060 is being used for FC 26. This can be done in the Nvidia Control Panel. Also, set the game in Windows Graphics settings to High Performance.
3. You have an external monitor. Try using either only the external monitor or your laptop's display.
4. Turn off Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS) temporarily. Also, disable overlays from GeForce Experience, Discord, Steam, Xbox Game Bar and MSI Afterburner/RTSS.
5. Update the laptop BIOS and OEM chipset/graphics components from MONSTER, not just Windows Update. Your BIOS is 1.07.05TFB, so check to see if MONSTER has a newer firmware package.
6. It's also possible this is a temperature issue. You might be having a thermal or power spike so it would be good to check these when the freeze happens.

Do the first step and then reboot your PC and try playing again. Hopefully, you don't need the others. If that doesn't help though, go through the rest of them. Let me know what happens. Thanks!

Hello, I've tried all the suggestions you mentioned, but none of them worked. In fact, some suggestions, like HAGS, had negative consequences. Also, there's no overheating issue because I noticed FC24 and FC26 heat up similarly, but the sudden freezing only happens in FC26. I repaired the game and uninstalled and reinstalled the anti-cheat feature, but it didn't help. Could this be a problem with the game itself?

We're not aware of any issues currently that would cause this, but will watch for more reports.
