Re: Input delay and game lagging(after the first half) PC
Hi everyone ,
I am experiencing a game-breaking issue on PC. There is a massive, consistent input delay in solo online modes (Rivals / Champions), despite having a fully optimized setup and a flawless connection.
The Issue:
While the game visually runs fine, my players feel extremely heavy, like they are stuck in the mud. There is about a 0.5-second delay between pressing a button on my controller and the action happening on screen. It makes defending and quick passing impossible.
Proof that my end is fully optimized:
- Network: My ping is completely stable between 16ms and 30ms. I have opened/triggered the official EA ports, and allowed the game through my Firewall.
- Hardware: High-end Laptop (Acer Nitro, RTX 3080). The game is running perfectly: Full Screen mode, VSync OFF, 144Hz, Unlimited FPS.
- Controller: I use a PS5 DualSense controller connected via USB cable directly to the PC. I also disabled Steam Input to ensure there is no software interference.
- Offline Modes: The gameplay in offline Kick-off or Career mode is fast and responsive with zero delay.
Conclusion:
Since my ping is low, my controller is wired, and my PC is fully optimized for lowest latency, this 0.5s delay is strictly a server-side or PC engine issue. The servers seem to be struggling to process inputs efficiently for PC players.
Could the development team please look into this "Heavy Gameplay / Input Delay" issue specifically affecting the PC platform in solo online modes? We have exhausted all local troubleshooting steps.
Thank you!
