FC 26 Won’t Launch – Account Bug Confirmed Across Multiple PCs
I’ve been unable to launch FC 26 on my account since September 30. The game loads the green FC 26 screen, then goes black and shows the error: “Failed to launch – it’s on your end.” I’ve spent over a week trying to fix this with no success.
Here’s what I’ve confirmed:
• I can launch and play FC 26 on my friend’s account on my PC.
• I can play every other game on my PC, including FC 25, with no issues.
• I have a high-end PC with everything updated.
• I’ve tried reinstalling, updating drivers, and even clean installing Windows.
• My friend cannot launch FC 26 on my account from his PC either.
• We both cannot launch the game on my account.
• I can still access the web app just fine.
This proves the issue is not on my end. It’s clearly a server-side bug tied to my EA account. I suspect something broke after my last Rivals match, which had strange ping behavior (felt like 300ms despite showing 16ms). After that match, I couldn’t launch the game again.
I’ve contacted EA Support multiple times. One advisor (Sourav) confirmed it was reported as a bug and mentioned possible compensation. I’m now following up to ask: Has this been escalated properly? Is there any update? I was told by an EA employee to post this here so a community team manager can assist. I havent played since 30 SEPTEMBER!!!!!!!!
I’ve posted here before and reached out directly. This is my final attempt before giving up. I’ve spent money and time on this game and just want to play again. Please help.
