FC26 is a joke
Can’t connect to EA servers, tried everything. Reset PS5, closed app, turned it off and on. But just keeps saying I’ve lost online connection. Been like this for hours now. Anyone got any idea?

when it happened before for you was it the same issue where if you’re on your main wifi source it wouldn’t connect but would if you were on a hotspot?
Yeah it let me connect on hotspot last time. But can’t really play on hotspot
I read somewhere that the wireless hotspot allows better communication (tunneling) between IPv4 and IPv6. EA servers seem to have an issue with IPv4-only routing with most ISP including mine. Wasted 4 hours attempting every single thing I could think of. Including clear cache and rebuild in safe mode (PS5), power cycling PS5, router and modem, uninstalling and reinstalling game, renewing the game license, changing DNS, changing MUT, all for nothing. Waste of time! The FC franchise is becoming the biggest joke of sports games. Can’t wait for our compensation packs for wasting our time and money. Oh wait that won’t happen because they don’t care. Just another money grabbing joke of a franchise that wants max profit over good product or good customer care/service. Anyways, same post said downloading a program that allows IPv4 to communicate with IPv6 will fix the issue. That person used the WARP app for windows which runs your ISP through Cloudflare and fixed the issue. A lot of posts made under his saying it worked for them as well. Should also note that this will more than likely raise your ping noticeably but atleast you get to play the game you’ve already paid for. I haven’t tried this yet but will in the morning if I’m still having problems. Good luck everyone. If you do try this let everyone know of it works or not.
The Fix: I installed Cloudflare WARP (free app for Windows). Just search it up. It routes your connection through Cloudflare and gives you IPv6. As soon as I enabled WARP(by launching the downloaded app) and launched FC 26, the game connected instantly!
So if you’re stuck on “EA servers are not available” or can’t connect to opponents, the issue is likely IPv4-only routing with your ISP. Using WARP (or any tunnel that provides IPv6) fixes it.
Just completed WL with no issues.
