FC26 is UNPLAYABLE – Controller + Connection Issues, Lost €30 on FUT Drafts

I honestly don’t understand how EA can release a game in this state. I’ve put 30 hours into FC26 and out of 60 matches, at least 50 have been completely ruined by technical issues. The ONLY time the game has worked properly was in a tiny windowed mode that takes up maybe 30% of my laptop screen — that’s not even remotely playable.

Here’s what I’m dealing with:

Controller inputs (PS5 controller on PC) stop working randomly mid-game. Wired or wireless, it doesn’t matter — this happens almost every single match.

Connection issues despite having flawless, high-speed internet. I constantly get “unstable connection” warnings and have been disconnected from every single FUT Draft I entered. That’s €30 gone because of EA’s broken servers.

Controller lag makes the game feel miserable even when it doesn’t outright crash or disconnect.

Brand new high-end gaming laptop (ASUS ROG Scar 16, RTX, all drivers updated). I’ve tested every supposed fix — different resolutions, V-Sync on/off, wired/wireless, multiple screens — nothing works consistently.

This is outrageous. I regret buying the game, and even more I regret convincing 4 friends to preorder with me. FC26 in its current state is nothing short of a scam. If this isn’t fixed fast, I will never touch an EA product again.
