Game is lagging!!

Question

Hello,I’m experiencing a serious performance issue with FC 26 on PC. The game has suddenly become extremely laggy, especially in the menus, and the stuttering also carries over into gameplay.&nbsp;What’s strange is that until yesterday everything was working perfectly fine – menus and gameplay were smooth, and I haven’t changed anything on my system since then. The lag just started out of nowhere.&nbsp;My system specs:&nbsp;CPU: Intel i7-14700KFGPU: NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER (latest drivers installed)RAM: 32GB DDR5Storage: 2TB NVMe SSDOS: Windows 11 (fully updated)&nbsp;&nbsp;What I’ve tried so far:&nbsp;Updated GPU driversChecked Windows updatesVerified game filesLowered graphics settings (lag in menus still remains)Tested other games (all run perfectly fine)&nbsp;&nbsp;This issue seems to be specific to FC 26. Is this a known bug from EA’s side, or is there something else I should try?&nbsp;Thanks in advance!

I don't have exactly FPS drops os stuttering, but since the new update i have ABSURD input delay. Played since the pre-launch with no problems, but the update destroyed it

I have to press a button 4-5 times for it to work and if I change the direction of the player, it takes longer than 3 seconds to respond

Don't know what to do anymore, tried everything possible and every single youtube tutorial in terms of graphic settings, vsync, locking fps, etc

If your fps gets nuked and the game runs on like 5-10 fps, bad news for you I've had this since the release and no fixes yet is defo somehing on the games side

I didn’t check the exact FPS, but it definitely feels like that – the menus are extremely laggy and gameplay is stuttering. Since it was working fine until yesterday, I was hoping it was just a temporary issue, but looks like it might be the same problem you’re describing.

I found out a lot of people got the issue even with better PCs, and no one found a fix yet, i was able to get rid of the lag by just changing resolutions ingame constantly, at 1 point lag goes away but then i get a controller bug
