I have same issue with a nvidia 4080 super and 79800x3d. Cant play the game. heavy gameplay and input lag
I’m old. I’ve played Fifa in some variations since the 90’s. I started playing it again with my boys.
i can’t prove this but I suspect EA are using AI to maximise engagement. I bet when you get angry you play more to try & “get better”? If so that’s because the Algorithm has figured out how to make you spend more time on the game.
it makes you feel like you’re going mad but you are not. AI for the opposition is working Twice as hard, whilst your own AI is actively sabotaging your play. You are always outnumbered on the ball whilst the opposition have all the space in the world. Your own players run into offside positions, or the game delays your pass untill your striker is offside.
players are NOT in control of this game and it’s not about skill. You win when it wants you to & when it doesn’t, you will give away penalties or whatever it takes to lose. Do a little experiment in Manger mode. Take control of the Opposition without touching the controller & watch all the amazing things the AI does to rob the ball off you.
on the flip side it seems to reward players who only have one or two obvious direct playing styles
This game used to be brilliant but has been ruined by AI interference. Throw it in the bin.
