Game runs fine for 10-15 minutes and then drops to 10fps, unplayable

The game runs fine at solid 60fps on PC, and then the entire game (even after going back to the main menu) after 10-15 minutes, just drops to about 10fps. No matter what my graphics settings are, not...

Just to say troubleshooting wise so far I have done:

  • Graphics drivers updated
  • Restarted PC, updated Windows
  • Repaired EA FC 26
  • Reinstalled EA FC 26
  • Fiddled around the refresh rate and graphics preset options

Even after all of that, the game just stops for a second and goes straight back to 10-15fps and an unplayable stuttery mess.
