Graphics settings don't save at all

It doesn't make sense. Every time I save the graphics settings, whenever I close the game, no matter how I close it, the game doesn't save the video settings. I set everything up nicely, customized, ultra, medium, high, but as soon as I close the game, it defaults back to high or just ultra. How do you play a game that's so poorly configured that it doesn't even save the settings? My 10-hour trial period for the game is about to run out, and I haven't been able to fix this. As usual, no one from EA is going to respond to this, or, most likely, no one will even see this because they're only worried about making money from those **bleep** Ultimate Team packs.
