Keyboard control settings not matching during gameplay in FC 26

Hello,

I play FC 26 on PC via Steam. Initially, I was using a keyboard and everything worked fine. Then I tried playing with a controller on the weekend. After unplugging the controller and switching back to keyboard, the key settings look correct in the menu but behave differently in matches.

 

For example, I assigned “D” for standing tackle and “S” for pass, but in-game it’s not working as expected — pressing “D” sometimes changes player instead.

 

I’ve already:

• Deleted “buttonDataSetup” files

• Uninstalled the game from Steam

• Manually deleted EA and FC 26-related folders in Documents

• Reinstalled clean

 

But the issue persists.

 

Please help, or escalate to the dev team if this is a known bug.
