Matchmaking issue: The connection to your opponent has been lost

A few weeks ago, I was playing division rivals, and the connection cut out with my opponent. A message came up saying ‘the match is under review’. I didn’t disconnect on purpose and there is nothing on my penalty history. 

Ever since, i have been unable to queue into an online match. trying to do so, a message pops up during matchmaking saying ‘the connection to your opponent has been lost’. 

I would like this to be fixed asap so i can play online again. I don’t know what the issue is, whether it’s a technical bug, or i have been suspended mistakenly.
