Not in control of my players

I loaded up 2 tournament games back to back on EAfc26 Ultimate Edition and I wasn't in control of my players. I made sure I had controller selected & was using my controller before that.

Is this a joke? I had to waste 2 tournament games, what is wrong with your game?? It's been 2 fn days
