Not letting me Join online game

I’m trying to play either rivals or a tournament and my connection is good i restarted both router and ps5 and tested to connection. well above to play an online but when i try to join one it says checking connection then goes back to the play screen with all the game modes. Not an error code or anything but just kicks me out

    Playstation network are having issues, most likely their issue. Seen people complain on other games too.

    I have the same problem, when I try to play rivals it says checking for connection then just goes back to the previous screen with the different competitive modes like rush &  cornerstones tournament.. started today for me
