pc controller input delay

everytime i go and play division rivals theres like a 5 second delay before any of my inputs get registered but in any other gamemodes like rush squad battles etc theres no delay i cant even play my champs because i didnt qualify yet because theres no rivals and i went down like 4 stages already in division rivals due to this input lag this started like 3-4 days ish ago and i went to play the game today and the problem is still there
