Player career games played not counting

I played the Manager Career weekly objective games without any issues. All 5 games I played, registered immediately and awarded the SP points. Then I moved on to Player Career, and now I'm stuck at 5/6 games played, even though I must have played like 9 or 10 already. At least the last three have not registered for sure, but I think it's actually 4 or 5 games I've now played for no reason. (I play these modes merely for the SP points, not for my own enjoyment, so now it feels like I've done a lot of work and not gotten paid for it).

I've tried closing the game and reopening it. I've loaded other modes and tried to play more. Nothing seems to work.
