PS5 Game crashes

Despite my internet connection being perfect, after about 3 mins in the menus the EA server disconnects and I must re-connect. When I enter an online game, either myself or my opponent disconnects.

    Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. Sorry to hear about your connection issues. I'll try to help find out what's causing this. First, I'd like you to run the Connection Quality Report and get me a screenshot of the overall score.

    That’s a quick reply EA_Aljo​. I am having the exact same problem (and have been posting here for weeks without reply, but no worries)

    can you offer me the same attempt to resolve the issue?

    I've attached some example of the crashes. Along with a copy of my connection score as well. Thanks!

    Hey there. Your score looks good, but it does have some packet loss. It would be better to see the match history since that shows the connection for each match. However, you have a small amount of packet loss and it's possible that could be causing this. Have you tried all the connection troubleshooting steps here?

    EA_Aljo​ the only thing I did not try yet is the safe mode restart. I’ll do it today. 

    is 0.01% packet loss really a problem that can cause so many issues (including during simple menu navigation??)

    does the game actually require 0.00% packet loss for basic functions to work?

    This is why we need to see the match history. .01% is the average. It's possible you're getting spikes of higher loss that could cause disconnects/lag.

    You should also talk to your ISP to see if they are noticing any issues.

    I still recommend going through the connection troubleshooting. Especially try alternate DNS settings.
