Re: Severe FPS Drops (5-10 FPS) in every game mode, even in Menus

Hello EA Support / Community, I'm experiencing a serious performance issue in EA Sports FC 26 on PC. My FPS is stable and smooth (60+ FPS) during the first half of a match, but after halftime (or sometimes during cutscenes), the FPS drops drastically to around 5–10 FPS and never recovers for the rest of the match. My system specs: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, AMD Radeon RX 6600XT, 32GB RAM, Windows 10/11, latest AMD Adrenalin drivers. What I've tried: Lowering all graphics settings, editing overrideAutodetect.lua to disable strand-based hair and motion blur, setting the file to read-only, disabling V-Sync and FPS cap in-game, enabling Frame Rate Target Control via AMD software, setting Windows to High Performance mode, and reinstalling both the game and GPU drivers. None of these fixed the issue. The FPS drop consistently happens after halftime even in Kick-Off mode with no overlays or mods. The game becomes nearly unplayable. Based on Reddit and EA forums, it seems many users are having the same issue. Please look into this. Let me know if you need any logs or system info. Thanks.

Same here bro. Its bcoz You GPU is going to 99% in 2nd half all the time - Ive checked by Nvidia widget layer. For now there is only 1 way to fix that, exit the game during the match or close app immediately. I know its frustrating and count as loose and warning for us, but dont see any other way till the fix that. Its sad.
