Re: Input delay after new update on PC

Hi, I'm facing same issue here, I think it's couse of the game update, nothing like this happened before. I hope they will fix this ASAP couse i was looking for a real fix for more than hour and finded none. It works for some time, but than the latency starts going insane - sometimes up to 10 second usually around 5. Pls fix this I just want to enjoy my weekend EA.

I’m experiencing a severe performance issue in EA Sports FC 26 on PC. The game runs normally during the first match, but starting from the second match the FPS drops dramatically to around 5–10 FPS and stays that low until I restart the game. The problem makes the game unplayable.

Steps I already tried:

• Clean installed latest NVIDIA Game Ready driver.
• Disabled EA App in-game overlay and GeForce Experience overlay.
• Cleared DirectX Shader Cache via Windows Disk Cleanup / temporary files.
• Lowered crowd and grass settings in-game.

Additional notes:

• I cannot find a “Documents\EA Sports FC 26” folder on my PC, so I cannot manually clear any game shader/cache files.
• I run the game as Administrator.

System info (please replace placeholders with exact values):

• GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060 (driver version: _____)
• CPU: _____
• RAM: 32 GB
• OS: Windows 11 64-bit

Reproduction steps:

1. Start EA App → Launch FC26.
2. Play a full match (no problems).
3. Start the second match → FPS suddenly drops to ~5–10 FPS and does not recover.

Attached: dxdiag.txt, msinfo64.txt, and a short video/screenshot of Task Manager during the drop (if possible).

Please advise whether this is a known bug (shader cache / VRAM leak / Frostbite issue) and what temporary workarounds or permanent fixes are available.

Same here — I’m experiencing a delay of 5 seconds or more, especially in Rivals and Pro Clubs. It feels like I’m playing 5–10 seconds behind my teammates, like I’m stuck in the past. I have an RTX 3060 and the latest drivers installed.

did you find a fix for this? I still have the same problem after 2 weeks. 

So I get penalized for "not playing" when I literally cannot **bleep** play the game. In rivals, I have a 10 second input lag and that's not even an exaggeration. I can input the controls beforehand and put my controller down and watch it happen. And it's definitely not a pc spec or connection issue since any other modes are fine. The game costs that much but from what I see, it's the consumers who are actively looking for solutions. **bleep** Ea
