Screen Resolution not saving in settings EA FC 26

As the title says, everytime i change the resolution from 2560 x 1440p to 1920 x 1080 p the settings revert back to what it was right after i apply and go back to the menu. This started happening yesterday, FIX YOUR **bleep** GAME EA I CANT EVEN PLAY ON THESE SETTINGS ON MY PC.

I also have this problem and there is no solution for it in the game. What does work however, is changing the resolution of your monitor to 1920*1080 in windows and then it cannot go to 2560*1440 so it will automatically go to your preferred resolution.
