Severe overheating and extreme fan noise on PS5 Pro after latest update
After installing the latest Title Update (TOTY), EA FC 26 causes my PlayStation 5 Pro to overheat extremely fast. Within 20–40 seconds of entering a match, the console fans ramp up to maximum speed (jet-like noise) and very hot air is expelled.
This issue did NOT exist before the update. Prior to the TOTY update, the game ran normally with no excessive fan noise or overheating.
The problem occurs both in menus and during matches, but becomes critical immediately when a match starts.
Other games (e.g. Astro’s Playroom) run perfectly fine and quiet, confirming this is not a hardware issue.
