Stutter/freeze of 1 second after slide tackle

Question

Hi, I am experiencing a consistent issue on FC 26 after patch 1.2.1 on PC. Every time I perform a slide tackle the game stutter/freezes for about one second and then continues normally. The game runs perfectly otherwise with no FPS drops, no performance problems, no overlays, clean system, updated drivers, and no issues in any other situation.

This is the same freeze we had in FIFA 22 where winning the ball/intercepting a pass triggered a short freeze. The first patch back then moved the freeze to skill moves and only a later update fixed it completely. What I am seeing now in FC 26 is identical, just triggered specifically by slide tackles. Since everything else runs smoothly it looks like a gameplay or animation related issue rather than a performance problem.

I am reporting it here so the team can investigate as the FIFA 22 version of this bug required a gameplay update to be resolved.

Unfortunately I'm not an expert in video capture, this is what I managed to do... it seems imperceptible but if you look carefully at the very beginning of the video, when I slide tackle immediately after you see a micro freeze.... I don't know if you can recover old discussions of fifa 22 but I can assure you that this problem was there and had created a lot of uproar in the PC community because not everyone had this problem.... It was one of the most viewed and followed threads that year.
