Unable to connect to EA servers

I am unable to connect to fc26 servers despite having internet connection. i either get the message "You have lost online connection. Check your home network..." or "Unable to connect to EA servers..." or "Unable to retrieve server information" Despite being able to view online friends on fc26 and access other applications on ps5
