Title: PS5 FC26 “Unable to Connect” for Over 24 Hours, Companion App Works Fine
Platform: PS5
Location: Hong Kong
I’ve been unable to connect to the EA servers on PS5 since 21 Feb 2026, 15:00 HKT, and the issue is still ongoing as of 23 Feb 2026, 13:02 HKT.
Steps tried (all unsuccessful):
- NAT Type 2, DNS set to 8.8.8.8
- Safe Mode → Clear Cache
- Tried mobile hotspot (did not work)
- PS5 network test successful
- Completely reinstalled FC26 on PS5
- All other online games on PS5 are working fine
The Companion App logs in perfectly, and all Ultimate Team data is visible.
My EA account is clearly not banned, so this might require a backend reset. I need a quick fix, as there are several time-limited objectives to complete in Ultimate Team mode.
