URGENT: Missing Coins - Failed Purchases

  • Platform: Xbox Series S
  • Game: EA SPORTS FC 26
  • Game Mode: Ultimate Team

Complaint Details:

​I am writing to report a critical technical error that resulted in a substantial loss of coins from my account on the Xbox Series S platform, spanning multiple failed transactions.

Incident Summary:

  1. Initial Failed Transaction:
    • Date and Approximate Time: 17:00-17:20 [Madrid hour] 
    • Player/Amount: I attempted to purchase the player Ronaldinho for 5,900,000 coins.
    • Result: The transaction failed, and the player was NOT added to my club. However, the full amount of 5,900,000 coins was immediately deducted from my balance.
  2. Test Transaction and Further Issue:
    • ​To see if the game would refresh the Market or correct the balance, I immediately attempted a second, smaller purchase.
    • Player/Amount: I bought an Inform (IF) Fermín López for approximately 20,000 coins.
    • Result:  checking my club and my Unassigned Items again, neither Ronaldinho nor Fermín López was present.
  3. Current Status: My total coin balance has been reduced by 5,920,000 coins (5.9M for Ronaldinho + 20K for Fermín López), and I have not received either player. This confirms a critical failure in the Transfer Market's transaction processing system.

Request:

​I urgently request a thorough investigation of my account's transaction and purchase logs.

    Hi everyone,
    I’m also affected by this same issue on Xbox Series X, using the latest update of EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team.

    On October 20, 2025, I had two separate failed purchases where each transaction deducted about 35,000 coins, but no player was added to my club or unassigned list afterward.

    During my chat session with EA Support (case #226157981), the advisor was able to verify through the transaction logs that there’s a discrepancy between my coin movements and the transaction history — basically, a gap where coins were deducted without a recorded purchase. He confirmed this points to a Transfer Market processing bug.

    I’m posting here so that the development team can link my case to this thread, as it seems to be the same underlying issue other players are facing across different platforms.

    Have they returned the coins to you? They haven’t even bothered to reply to me.

    Not yet. I've just ended a chat on ea help but they told me to post something on this forum. Yeah, it's super cool that they could fix the bug, but we want our coins back! Basically, they didn't mention anything else. I asked to escalate the ticket because the request is to get the coins back, not to fix the bug. I'll ping them in a week from now to validate if there's any update on my ticket.
