When is this a throw in

I’ve been playing this game shouting at the TV because of off sides and throw ins etc, and it’s very hard to get a offside that’s clear to say if the computer draws the lines correctly etc, but this is just very bad programming. The whole of the ball clearly doesn’t go out, but the game gave a throw in.

this is basic football protocol that the whole of the ball has to go out, and clearly EA devs ain’t doing the job properly especially as we are 6months in of game life
