Hello, I am experiencing the error "You have more than one storage device with a FC 26 profile. Please select a storage device to load from." on my Nintendo Switch 2.
I dont have a microSD card and already restarted the console, I remove the game card and put it back again, reinstalling the game, disabling cloud sync, and testing a new user profile — it works that way but i want it working on my main account/main user profile.
The issue prevents me from loading my game and i have a save file i dont want to loose; when I press A, it never advances. Please advise on how to resolve this issue or release a patch/update to fix it. - Red_Torch_1603 months agoRising Newcomer
I started to a new career mode and was trying out some of the new/newer features and made a checkpoint. After I did that, my game started to act uo so I reset it. After resetting the game, it says "You have more than one storage device with a FC 26 profile. Please select a storage device to load from." Now this made me think it was downloaded on both my external and internal, nope. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, nope. I tried clearing my profile data from the game in the saved data, nope. I tried deleting that same data and not allowing it to resync, still nothing working. This is extremely frustrating and need to get fixed ASAP. $70 usd for this is crazy.

So basically we can’t play the game if we make a checkpoint save? That’s so stupid why can’t EA ever make their game work properly it’s always something with this game I never have this issue when playing Madden or even NHL for that matter, so why is it that there’s always game breaking issues when it comes FIFA/FC?

Having the same issue, I've never bothered with the online parts of these games. I always play career mode but now the only way I can get the game to load is to delete all the saved data and start again which is pointless.

For the record, I don't have more than one storage device.
I get this message whenever I try to start the game. If I press "A" Ok (the only action I can take) it takes me back to the same screen where all I can do is press A again. And again.
I've researched online and I've done all the suggested steps - deleting local game data on my (Xbox X) console, deleting the game and re-downloading it from the store, hard reset on the console, etc. etc. Nothing works.
I need someone at EA to either fix this or give me my money back. I'm not paying CA$100+ for a game I can't play.
