Cut and paste of the last few fc footballs…it’s really not good
I have been playing fc games since before it got the fifa name, they used to be fun, over the years they have become more and more awful
playing the AI is near impossible, for some reason they hold onto the ball, recycle the ball fend off all challenges, and always passing at 95% plus in my games
i I don’t mind the passing the ball around so much as that’s what a human player would do, but when the AI is supposedly predicting every move which if you slow it down the AI moves to your stick position and moves before your player you are controlling reacts to the position you are asking.
since when did running through a player to defend from any angle become a thing in football, if you charge through the back of a player, it’s a foul, but not in FC26 or 25. This needs to change. It’s meant to be a football simulator.
the AI defence in squad battles leaves players open to defend a person running, but you can’t make the pass, as the AI always in the passing lanes, and always predicts when you press the button, the defence always runs out to block a pass which doesn’t happen either in real games, agreed it happens occasionally.
The defence needs to have the boost it gets to defending a player reduced, if you skill or pass around a defender, 9 times out of 10 it will catch you and block a shot, even when the player is a lot slower.
the game is still a block festival, it just don’t happen that a player is in the perfect position everytime to block it and run away with the ball, you don’t get the player shooting, it being blocked but it deflects over the GK or to a different angle into the goal, it’s unrealistic
the passing, why is the players still picking the wrong person, the ball is literally played at times in a different direction to the controller stick position. And generally the pass leaves you in a very bad situation, or breaks down an attack
Can’t take a quick goal kick now in squad battles, always need to wait for the prompt thing to pop up to say the buttons, and I’ve got the trainer turned off.
the game in this form is a joke, and just shows that EA devs have never watched a proper game of football in their lives. EAs slogan is….If it’s in the game….well apart from players and the ball hardly anything else is correct. Too much emphasis is placed on taking money from customers for profits than having an enjoyable experience.
