EA FC HUB Season Pass

Hey :)

How does it work with the 1000 Points for the Premium Pass? Is it just for the premium extra-stuff? Last season I didnt buy the pass and still had full access to the pass. I have EA Pro, maybe thats relevant. 

Now I bought the new pass for 1000 Points with the thought of gaining some levels with it but nothing happened
