I feel the same way. It's been over 10 days since EA said they would investigate, but they still haven't returned my lost player. I'm also disappointed in EA. I understand how you feel.
I've raised the issue with EA again, including your post. If that doesn't work, there may not be anything else we can do. Hopefully they can resolve it.
Let's believe and wait.
