Evolution issue

I completed the objectives for European league live event were I was rewarded with the evolution ‘blonde angel’ , yersteday i previewed the evolution and it gave players an overall boost of +15. Today I went to apply my evolution to the player of my choice (low rated so i could chain him) and once i completed the first level of the evolution it gave a +40 overall boost. Do you know why this has changed or can you do anything to fix it. Thank you
