I just had to meet a player I had already blocked in Champions...

I started the game and whenever I see a player who has over 300 passes I suspect it's another cheater. This one also had a red star as his emblem which is another good sign.

So I stopped the game to see his EA ID before wasting my time. His EA ID didn't even show up. Then I went back to see the playername which showed up [Removed by CM]

When I did a search on this it said "Do you want to unblock this player?"

?????

Why is EA forcing me to meet this cheater who I have already blocked which meant that I lost another Champions match to a cheater???

  • Please do not accuse others of cheating SmokeyJoeSr as this is not allowed on the forums.

When you block a player in-game, it does not mean that you will not see them in-game, it blocks communication and the like.

The block tool cannot stop you from being matched with another user as that would simply not be possible given how it could be abused.

If you suspect another user of breaking the rules then you can report them here

Hey SmokeyJoeSr changing a letter or two is still name and shame and not allowed.

FC is a game of skill and it can happen that you find yourself matched with a better player who can do more with a lesser team than a good player with a great team.

If you suspect someone of breaking the rules then you can use the link I shared to report this.

I didn't name and shame anyone.

I specifically altered the username somewhat (changing letters in the username) so that the person could not be identified.

    Look, it's very simple.

When I play Squad Battles I normally finish at Level 1. This corresponds roughly to level 2 in Rivals according to your own company (last week I didn't because I only played one match). In squad battles only skill determines your rating so this has nothing to do with if I am facing a more "skilled player". I have absolutely no problem losing to a skilled player as long as my players can move in the same way as his.

I have NEVER finished above level 4 in Rivals. This is simply because the majority of the players I meet are cheating unfortunately. Just like the player I just met (you can check it if you want) who made 3 goals in a couple of minutes in Rivals. This is not because of any "skill". It is simply because a 99 paced player in my team gets outrunned by his 93 pace player by some "strange coincidence".

I would suggest you to play using a PC (like mine), using the same server that you are obliging me to use and you will see for yourself. A very large majority of those I have to meet all come from the same country (which I will not mention because you will ban me) and almost all of them are using scripts.

    Just try it for once.

And if you still do not believe me, I could record all my Champions matches for one playing week and post it here. Then you could see for yourself.  I don't suspect you would care but I would love you to prove me wrong.

I also note that you have no comment on the fact that cheater reports are not being reviewed since Jan 4th and that you have nothing to say regarding what measures you plan to address cheating in FC 27.

There are thousands of players like me who are highlighting this huge problem but nobody in your company seems to acknowledge the problem or proposing measures to address it.

I had a very simple question - will you address cheating for PC players in FC 27 or not, and can you guarantee that online gaming will be fair?

Name and shame is not something that we allow on forums SmokeyJoeSr and any naming of others will be actioned.

I play every day and rarely encounter anyone cheating.

Not saying it doesn't happen but in many cases what people believe is cheating is just coming face to face with a more skilled player.

If you suspect another user of cheating please report them using the link I shared.

  • Darko,

I have used the link you posted many, many times last year up until Jan 4th this year. Since this date, no reports have been processed by EA.

Before that date I could go in and see that the reports were under review. Since then it stopped. I continued to report for a few weeks but none of my reports were under review which means that I and other users were wasting our time. Given that there was no other option to block players, I used EA connect to block players. It says there that those players "are not able to invite you to play". This I clearly understood as I should not be able to meet them again. Now you say it isn't so.

The reality is that whenever I play Champions or Rivals, about 70-80% of the people I meet are cheating.

Most of them I can identify before starting the game:

    1. They have new players who have made like 554 goals or 337 assists.
    2. Their EA ID was created a month ago but they already have only 99 players
    3. They have club names such as Zenith, Dynamo, CSKA, TZ... which I know from long experience usually cheat
    4. Their connection is very varied before startup, going from 30=40 ms in the beginning to jump to 220 ms.

Of course, I am not able to identify all the cheaters before the game.

When the game starts with a cheater I can feel it right away. My players are slower than usual, passes lack power and precision and it's extremely hard to defend as my defenders do not stay in a logical position. I am often playing a game of Champions when I am leading 3-1. Then the other player makes a pause and comes back and beats me by 7-3 after having turned on his script.

I would also like to leave the game early when I meet these cheaters but if I do, I get a DNF punishment.

What I have been trying is to have a constructive discussion about cheating. I am certain that with the right measures taken you could get rid of 95% of the cheaters within a few months. I have clear ideas how this could be done which would benefit the large majority of players, especially those on PC.

The question I have is if you are serious about cheaters?

Before FC 26, you were talking a lot about the "Javelin anti-cheat" so I decided to give it a try. This game is fantastic without cheaters. Unfortunately, it doesn't work at all and there are numerous different tools cheaters use against fair players like myself.

For FC 27, there has been no specific communication from EA about how you plan to tackle cheating. Therefore I am wondering why PC players should even consider buying the game?

I know that you are not responsible for this but I cannot understand why EA is not listening to the many, many players facing the same problem as myself. Perhaps there are so many cheaters who initially paid for the game so you don't want to ban them?

Give us an open, frank discussion on cheating as a whole. I would be glad to report cheaters as long as I know for certain that it is helpful and that you are taking it seriously.
