Kick off goals still awful

Literally just had the most stupid game. Had to fight back from 2-0 down and was winning 3-2. From that point the kick of goals began like someone flipped a switch and didn’t want me to win. Then he ran through my whole team who barely tried to position themselves to get the ball and he scored. I then repeatedly was playing proper football (eg. Actually passing the ball around) and scoring again, and then he would just run from kickoff straight through my team and score another without passing the ball. This happened literally 4 times one after the other, I was scoring through hard work then he would just run through form a kick off goal. No joke, the second half of the match was essentially one kick off goal after another. At what point in real football does a player get granted the magical power to freeze the opposition team so they can run through and score each time they go a goal down. Major work needs to go into fixing kick offs still as they are still extremely common and people are taking advantage of it. I’m getting tired of totally outplaying someone, just for them to waltz through my whole team from kick offs and equalise.
