Mass Bans, Mass Denials, Template Responses – This Is Not an Investigation
I’m posting this publicly because it has become obvious that what happened to us is not an isolated mistake, but a systemic failure in EA’s enforcement and appeal process.
Right before the annual TOTY event, a large number of players were banned at the same time, all under the exact same accusation: “cheating.” We followed the official appeal process individually. After waiting several weeks, we were again rejected around the same time, but now with a different accusation: “coin distribution.” The emails were nearly identical in wording.
This alone proves that these decisions are not based on individual facts, but handled through template-driven responses. The enforcement reason changed, yet the outcome remained a permanent ban — without any evidence ever being provided. When players asked for proof, the response was always the same: “We can’t share details.”
No evidence. No explanation. Permanent bans.
What makes this worse is that this was not a single ban wave. After our cases were denied, additional mass bans continued, affecting players on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation alike. This clearly shows the issue is not platform-specific, but rooted in EA’s enforcement logic itself.
Here’s the uncomfortable question: if EA truly believes that long-time, normal players across every platform are all suddenly violating the rules, then what does that say about the system? Under this logic, every legitimate player is eventually “breaking the rules.” At that point, why should anyone trust the game at all?
I’m posting this for two reasons:
to publicly document EA’s inaction, contradictions, and reliance on template responses, and to call on other affected players to speak up. If you were banned around major events, received delayed replies, or were denied with identical messages, share your platform and timing here.
Players are not disposable entries in a risk model.
They deserve transparency, accountability, and real review.
