Misleading Pack Content During Live Promo

I really need to raise this because it’s becoming extremely frustrating.

During the current live promo, I opened a pack and received Doué’s Gold card, even though he has an active special promo item in packs right now.

Yes, I know EA’s usual explanation that gold versions can still exist — but from a player experience perspective, this is misleading. Packs are promoted visually and contextually around special items, which naturally makes players expect that base versions are no longer relevant.

This frustration is amplified after having very poor pack luck throughout the entire TOTY event, despite opening many packs. Experiences like this genuinely kill motivation and trust in the system.

I’m not asking for handouts — I’m asking for clarity, transparency, and a fairer approach to how packs are marketed versus what’s actually inside them.

Surely I’m not the only one experiencing this.
