My player Lost his 5*skills and 5* weak foot after completing an evo.

I had a player i had already evo’d to 5 star 5star   i put him in the the lucky number 7 evo and after completing my player is back to 4 star 3 star, initially thought it was a glitch  so i played a rivals match and my player couldn’t do 5 star skills any more please help, spent hours evolving my player.
