That's literally not the case though, my team is 86 rated with 31 chemistry, and play the same as always. EA devs aren't just going to make it so that chemistry reverses for Squad battles, that is ludicrous. It's literally just an AI thing, the AI for legendary and world class has definitely been buffed, but for some reason it hasn't accounted for low rated and chemistry teams.
In 25 you could tell even when a higher rated team had low chemistry, nothing was quite as sharp as the higher rated teams, and you would often find holes in the team where players are out of position. This year it is just a sweat festival no matter what team you face.
Only plus side now, is that they have buffed the rewards a bit to make the effort worthwhile, especially when playing for elite 1.
But... that's what it reads in Squad Battles! XD It literally tells you that when choosing those low-chemistry teams. It says the low chemistry applies to your team, not theirs!
To be fair, I do admit it is super confusing, considering this is literally the only time the Chemistry is reversed!
It doesn't say that low chemistry applies to your team, to simplify it, it essentially says that the difficulty is higher against teams with high chemistry. It's not applying the low chemistry to your team, other game modes against AI do not apply chemistry. As an example, it's basically saying that legendary mode on career mode does not have chemistry involved, so facing a team with high chemistry in squad battles may feel more challenging.
It's not about them applying the opposing teams chemistry to you, with the way it's worded I can see why people might misunderstand though.
I did not know that. Thanks for sharing. I guess that's why passes go all over the place. It seems like such a bizarre system. What's the point of using my super, OP squad if it's just going to be downgraded?
Before matches, I try to look at the squad, the bench, the strengths/weaknesses. None of it seems to matter as every CPU team plays nearly the same; it's boring and repetitive. It feels like I'm trying to solve a Rubik's cube instead of playing freely.

Izzy_FUT_Dubs that doesn't mean that you use the opposing teams chemistry. I'm not going around in circles with you though, believe what you want to believe. I've explained it to you and that's the best I can do.
