Player with top stats not moving in game
Either let us conveniently control more players at the same time or make it the same for AI. AI are doing too much things that human players are not allowed to do. Can we control more than 3 players simultaneously and let them all rushing towards and surround the ball possessor? Can our tackle actually invade opponents vertical cylinder? AI tackles with leg invading inside our players body, while human tackle only when the ball is open. So we can only shoulder our opponent while AI play like in real life interception.
I can't stand players with 94 defensive awareness being completely idle and have none proactiveness for defense. Neither standing in-between the ball and potential passing target nor in-between ball and gate. I m sick of players with 95 positioning not knowing proactively seeking chances until I hit L1, and sadly chooses the lane that has a defender in the middle of this passing lane.
If you would like to make it a pure skill gap thing (L1 +R1 in offense and right stick switching players in defense) then remove these stats. If they exists, they should perform in game. Otherwise ain't that fraudulent selling? Selling a card that you claim to be "smart in offense" but no different than idle.
Again football is a 11 players' game, it stinks that only the 1-2 players we control or call are moving, others are just watching the game like an audience. From competitive perspective, it also stinks because the player switching logic is absolutely rubbish. An example would be if I do a long pass, even with right stick, it still takes a long time to switch to the defender next to it because the camera is not there. This is ridiculous, in real life, that dude just fall asleep not seeing opponent made a long pass until the guy next to him are about to get the ball? No marking at all before that?
There is only 1 ball for 22 players in real game, but everyone is participating when off-ball.
