Post Patch analysis > PINA is peanuts again.

First of all, thank you for nerfing AI defenders. Finally, this game feels a little closer to reality.

I’ve played 12 games so far, Rivals and Gauntlet combined, and won 10 of them. I must say, the Pina menace has finally come to an end. None of my opponents were able to score goals with Pina.

Defenders are now actually using strength to prevent unnecessary goals. Most of the Pina merchants are going to drop to Division 6 with that old strategy. You can’t just defend with CDMs anymore. Players now have to manually select CBs to make tackles or they will concede.

Earlier, people were running ultra-defensive formations with two or more CDMs. Now, if you want to score goals, you actually need to commit more players forward. One Pina spin is no longer enough.

Honestly, I’ve enjoyed the game so much this week. I know EA might retract these changes because that’s typical EA doing EA things, but enjoy the game while it lasts.

And yes, after beating Pina users, I still message them the same thing every time:
too easy!
