Progressing total in SB

Why have a progressing total in Squad Battles, why not just have a total at the start of the week so people know what to aim for, play all your SB on Monday and you are in the top 100 then by Sunday you have dropped to Elite 2 or 3. Is this so you can add more points progressively in case more people reach Elite 2  and get punted back down to Elite 3 then people get less rewards .

Plus if you play all your matches on a Sunday or Monday as soon as you reach Elite 2, then the rest of the Squad Battles are scripted even more to make it harder.

Best thing to do is play them all on a Saturday night as the scripting is not as bad because you don't reach Elite 2 so quickly.

  • Why should it be if I work a 48 hour shift because I care for people that that I can’t get on Sunday and Monday, to reach what you say, but I need to play 4 games a day over the week. So progressive is great in that way, because if you get all your games done on semi pro within 3 hours of the new week, then you will be one of the best. Where I play most of my games on legendary, why should you get the same rewards as me? All because I can’t play straight away

making progressive forces players to do better, I end up in elite 1 every week with about 36k points, never have I made it to the top 200

  • You are missing my point mate, this has got nothing to do with when, or what difficulty you play your games on, see if I can explain it a bit better.

At the beginning of the week, Elite 2 starts of at say 4,500 points, then Monday it has gone up to 6,500 points, then Tuesday it is 9,500 points because the points you need keep progressively going up every minute, so by the end of the week you need  around 27,000 points. So one week it could be 27,000 points then the next week if too many people hit 27,000 points, they can put it up to 28,000 points to stop more people getting Elite 2.

Now, if at the beginning of the week it says you need 27,500 points to get Elite 2, you have something to aim for, so if you get 27,550 points no matter when you play your games, you know you will get Elite 2, but as it stands one week you get 27,550 points and get elite 2, the next week you get 27,550 points you get Elite 3 because they have changed the goalposts because too many people have reached 27,550 points.

Elite 2 is just an example, and so is playing all your games on a Sunday or Monday,  Its good you get Elite 1, but I border on Elite 2 and Elite 3 because I am not that good, but thinking you have enough points for Elite 2 and then they have changed the points so you get Elite 3 is pretty rubbish.

The progressiveness is all about how many people participate. Because of it’s the top 3% or what ever is top 200. Top 6% for elite 1.
I assume they do it for rewards. If there was a target more people would get the top packs, if people knew what to aim for. I assume, and we all know EA loves to stop to many packs being given out.
while a good idea to have a target, I’m not sure it will work as well
