You are missing my point mate, this has got nothing to do with when, or what difficulty you play your games on, see if I can explain it a bit better.
At the beginning of the week, Elite 2 starts of at say 4,500 points, then Monday it has gone up to 6,500 points, then Tuesday it is 9,500 points because the points you need keep progressively going up every minute, so by the end of the week you need around 27,000 points. So one week it could be 27,000 points then the next week if too many people hit 27,000 points, they can put it up to 28,000 points to stop more people getting Elite 2.
Now, if at the beginning of the week it says you need 27,500 points to get Elite 2, you have something to aim for, so if you get 27,550 points no matter when you play your games, you know you will get Elite 2, but as it stands one week you get 27,550 points and get elite 2, the next week you get 27,550 points you get Elite 3 because they have changed the goalposts because too many people have reached 27,550 points.
Elite 2 is just an example, and so is playing all your games on a Sunday or Monday, Its good you get Elite 1, but I border on Elite 2 and Elite 3 because I am not that good, but thinking you have enough points for Elite 2 and then they have changed the points so you get Elite 3 is pretty rubbish.
