[PS5] Transfer Market Not Working - Multiple Errors - 8+ Days

Platform: PlayStation 5 Issue Duration: 8+ days (since October 5, 2025) EA Support Case: #224789724 Account Email: [edit: email address removed] Region: Colombia (Medellin, Antioquia)

THE PROBLEM

I have been completely locked out of the Transfer Market in FC 26 Ultimate Team since I started playing. I'm getting THREE DIFFERENT error messages depending on what I try to do:

ERROR 1 - When trying to BUY players (Console):

  • I can search for a few seconds
  • Then error appears: "A connection error has occurred with the Football Ultimate Team servers, please try again later"
  • During the brief seconds before error, I managed to buy Davinson Sanchez once

ERROR 2 - When trying to SELL/LIST players (Console):

  • Immediate error: "You have reached your limit of offers/purchases. Come back in 24 hours for full access to the Transfer Market"
  • This appears even though I have made ZERO transactions from console
  • Cannot list even a single player

ERROR 3 - When trying to CLAIM purchased items or access Transfer objectives:

  • Error: "At this time it's not possible to connect to Ultimate Team. You will now return to the main menu"
  • Kicks me back to UT main menu immediately
  • I have 2 players waiting to claim (Davinson Sanchez and Linda Caicedo) that I cannot access

MOBILE APP STATUS:

  • Transfer Market works slightly better on mobile
  • Successfully bought Linda Caicedo through the app
  • BUT cannot claim ANY purchases on mobile either
  • The 2 items show "to claim" on console but don't appear on mobile app at all

WHAT WORKS PERFECTLY

This is NOT a general connection issue because:

  • Division Rivals - no issues
  • Rush mode - works fine
  • Season/Battle Pass - no problems
  • Online Tournaments - accessible
  • Challenger mode - works
  • Opening packs - no issues
  • All other objectives completed successfully

I've completed ALL initial objectives EXCEPT the Transfer Market objective because I cannot access the market.

EXTENSIVE TROUBLESHOOTING ALREADY DONE

Connection Tests:

  • Wired and WiFi connection - BOTH FAIL
  • Internet speed: 341.3 Mbps download, 19.1 Mbps upload
  • NAT Type 2 (optimal)
  • All PlayStation Network tests pass

Technical Troubleshooting:

  • Changed DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 - NO IMPROVEMENT
  • Waited 48+ hours without touching Transfer Market - NO IMPROVEMENT
  • Restarted console 10+ times - NO IMPROVEMENT
  • Tested on mobile app - PARTIALLY works but cannot claim

Account Verification:

  • No ban emails received
  • EA Support confirmed no bans/blocks on account
  • New account for FC 26 (created this season)
  • Only 2 purchases made in 8 days

EA SUPPORT EXPERIENCE (TERRIBLE)

Agent 1: Suggested using "mobile data on console" (PS5 doesn't have mobile data) Agent 2: Claimed this is "cooldown mode" from too many bids (INCORRECT - only 2 purchases in 8 days) Agent 3: Finally admitted EA is aware of this issue and team is working on it, but REFUSED to provide timeline, notification plan, or compensation information. Told me to monitor social media myself.

Summary: EA Support acknowledged this is a known bug but provided ZERO actual help, timeline, or solution.

WHY THIS IS NOT A NORMAL ISSUE

  1. Multiple Different Error Messages - suggests account-level restriction
  2. Selective Functionality - everything else works perfectly
  3. Duration - 8+ days is NOT a normal cooldown
  4. Platform Inconsistency - console broken, mobile partially works
  5. Zero Transaction History - no excessive activity to trigger cooldown

RESEARCH FINDINGS - WIDESPREAD PS5 BUG

After EA Support told me to check forums, I found similar cases:

  • Forum post #12660331: PS5 user with identical errors
  • Forum post #12690353: User with this issue for 1+ week
  • Forum post #12653596: Multiple users reporting same errors

Pattern: This appears to be a PS5-specific backend bug affecting multiple players since late September/early October 2025.

IMPACT ON GAMEPLAY

What I Cannot Do:

  • Complete Transfer Market objectives (8+ days of lost progress)
  • Claim 2 players I already purchased and paid for
  • Build Ultimate Team properly through trading
  • Access rewards tied to Transfer Market

I paid full price for FC 26 but cannot use a CORE FEATURE of Ultimate Team.

QUESTIONS FOR EA / COMMUNITY

For EA Staff:

  1. Is this a confirmed bug?
  2. What is the timeline for a fix?
  3. How will affected players be notified?
  4. Will there be compensation?

For Community:

  1. Is anyone else experiencing this EXACT combination of errors on PS5?
  2. Has anyone found a solution or workaround?

    I can acces transfer market on ps4 

    I let my friend sell my players from ps4 cz I can’t sell them on my ps5
