R1 dribbling not working - heavy touches instead

Same here ,on XSX (both) my son hammers the game n is very good , but has played on my account and can’t believe the difference in R1 technical dribbling ,it’s like night n day ! No close control whatsoever big clunky heavy touches. How can this be ? 
we both have the same game settings ! 

so frustrating ! Pls fix EA !!!
