Random PC Ban

On Sunday February 1, 2026 I received 2 emails (7am EST) stating that my account had been suspended for 14 days; the 2nd email that showed up a few minutes later said that my account had been permanently banned. Mind you, I had not played FC 26 since January 28th so I am assuming somebody hacked my account and did something to my Ultimate Team?

EA has not provided any evidence nor documentation as to what was done within my account that would classify as "cheating". I am also not smart enough nor do I play enough to even try to cheat. The only thing I purchased was points within the game itself and that was a couple weeks ago.

I am hoping that someone from EA will see this and realize this is a mistake on their part and release my account.

Hi there. I'm sorry to say, we can't help with bans over the EA Forums. I recommend you submit a dispute so that Terms of Service can perform an investigation to see if the ban was given in error or not. There are instructions for this in the article here.

EA_Aljo I've appealed it multiple times requesting documentation and/or a more detailed explanation but they just keep denying the appeal stating that they "actioned my account correctly". Makes no sense. Why can't they provide the evidence? I think if we are spending money and filling their pockets we at least have a right to know, don't you? I wasn't even home the weekend that my account got banned, I think that is evidence enough to figure out that my account was compromised.

I am just going to continue to reappeal, at this point my goal is to just clog their AI response system with the same case. Based off their responses, there is no way it is an actual person looking into my case.

An actual person is reviewing the appeals you're submitting. They are just not finding evidence to warrant overturning the ban.

We don't have access to your account here so there's really can't give you any additional details as to why the ban happened. You should have received an email with the general reason though. If you feel your account was hacked, you can always open a case with an advisor to see if they can help. That can be done by using the 'Contact us' button at the bottom of this page.

This is exactly what makes these PC bans so alarming.
Getting two different ban emails within minutes, especially when you weren’t even playing at the time, strongly suggests something is broken in the enforcement system.

Many PC players are seeing bans issued without evidence, explanation, or clear activity, followed by appeals that go nowhere. When accounts can be permanently banned while inactive, it’s hard to believe these cases are being carefully reviewed.

You’re definitely not alone — and cases like this deserve real answers, not silence.
