Squad Battles AI
The update to career mode ai has completely broken and ruined squad battles. Might work on authentic but clearly doesn't on competitive, this must not have been tested and if it was then please fire...

Thought I'd check back in to see if EA ha grown a braincell and decided to fix this before 2026... apparently not.
On a different note, ones of my sons who used to love Fifa but doesn't play anymore (smart) came over and was shocked I wasn't on the game being black Friday and all. Told him how bad it was and that I had quit.
He wanted to see for himself so booted the game up an he tried 1 Live event game, bare in mind he loves skilling and dribbling, he even said "what the hell is wrong with this game". Told him to try squad battles (Which he barely touched as he found it boring) and even he said "Why is squad battles sweatier than online, don't EA realise people play SB's because It's not like online play"... I rest my case.
Extra side note, that old theory of don't play for a while and get better pack luck is BS, we opened some 60 odd packs I had on there and got 2 bottom feeder promos an a few informs, either that or I've done so much moaning on here that EA have put me on the naughty list.
ricm0nkey It's no surprise you got nothing even after being off for a while. During promos like this especially when they release best of cards they nerf the pack weight into the ground. I'm still not sure why they do it, but it's always blatantly obvious and it's always when big promos or best of promos are involved.
I got 11 wins in champs, elite 1 in squads, plus all the objective and sbc packs. I got 2 85 rated thunderstruck that won't make it into teams unless a good evo appears, and 1 85 rated best of card that I will never use because I don't use the league. The only saving grace was my guaranteed thunderstruck, but even then I only got Beckham so it was nothing spectacular and he is just barely useable at cm, never in a million years would I put him st right mid with 84 pace especially with all the meta teams 90% of the player base has.
