Squad Battles nonsense

Can someone from EA step forward as the brains behind the Squad Battles AI? They need to get fired at this point...why make the casual, play objective, evo grinding mode MORE difficult? Who asked for that? Who needs that? I just wanna hang back and get some points for solid rewards. I literally just chill out for Elite 3/Gold 1 every week playing Professional/WC difficulty. Now I'm sweating for 900 points on pro and 1100 on WC, instead of 1100/1400.

Are they trying to force us toward the online modes by doing this (which I play anyway)?

    It won’t change, EA literally said this is more realistic than ever with it being this hard. lol. 
    the rewards are very poor, the points deduction is huge to letting in a goal etc, that’s what makes the game more frustrating because you will lose 2-300 points a goal you let in, but how the game plays it’s impossible to stop a goal

    update: this is still a chore to play, which is awesome! all-silver teams tiki-taki-ing up the field with a protective shield around them, lobbing it up to dunk on my 86-87 high jumping CBs, insane chasedown speeds by their low-pace CBs, and clinical saves by a 5'11" goalie...all in one game. what will it take for them to quit screwing with this game?
