The bandit evo glitch?

Basically, I put the bandit evo on my van de ven, giving him anticipate+, but in game I’m convinced he doesn’t actually have it, it does by his name in the bottom corner but when he tackles it’s the exact same as before the evo and the playstyle icon has never once come up above his head
