Ultimate Gauntlet 9 Bug – Can't Access Ultimate Team

I am experiencing the exact same bug that has been widely reported by many players.

after the 3rd Gauntlet game, I get "Unable to connect to EA Servers" and get kicked to the main menu. After trying to disconnect manually, I'm now locked out of Ultimate Team completely.

Many have reported this, but EA hasn't fixed it. Is there any working solution?
