Ultimate team game severe lag/crash/input delay

For the last week, every time I have played a game in ultimate team my frames have dropped heavily and glitched, game crashed, or severe input delay. My PC has been able to run the game very well since release, and does not have any problems running FC25, or FC24. This issue only happens on FC26, and has made the game unplayable for me. My settings have been changed multiple times and the issue still remains. Every other game mode such as career mode runs fine, and the issue is directed only to ultimate team. This causes me to have to back out of my rivals games, losing rank and increasing my DNF modifier. My WiFi connection is also fine, so it is not a part of the issue. If anyone can offer help it would be greatly appreciated.
