I completely agree about Rivals matchmaking. I had almost the exact same experience, cruised through to Division 7 with barely any losses, but the moment I hit Div 7 it was like hitting a brick wall. I suddenly couldn’t win a single match and the skill gap with opponents felt massive. I barely get a second on the ball before being swarmed by players, around 70 percent of my passes are instantly intercepted, and even players like Diani or  Evo Openda with around 95 pace can’t outrun basic defenders. It honestly feels like the game is designed to frustrate you into playing more and buy players packs. I’ve stopped playing now because it’s just not fun anymore and feels completely scripted. Until EA doesn’t see its player base reducing I don’t think they aren’t fixing it.
