"you already have an evolution version of this player"

Hi!

I’d like to ask for your help. Early in the game, I bought a Callum Wilson 78 card from the market, thinking I’d Evo it. I put it in, but I didn’t finish the process—I forgot about it. Now, the Evo icon isn’t showing up in the bottom right corner, but it’s listed as “Active.” I’ve completed the objectives, but it’s not counting them. There’s this Cake and Rash EVO I’d like to put him in (I’m so attached to him because he was a huge hit for me in FIFA 18’s Career Mode—he’s been my GOAT ever since 😆), but I can’t because it says I’ve already put him in an EVO. I've tried to discard him, currently I have no Wilson ín my club but it is show hím as a active evolution.

Could you help me figure out what to do? I’ve searched Reddit here and there for answers, but I haven’t found a solution.
